I’m from Louisiana (think: no accent, but still an extremely Cajun girl). I have my master’s in English Writing and Linguistics from Northwestern State University. I’m a goofball wife, a Disney obsessed mom, an annoying sister, a will-always-have-your-back friend, semi-decent (I think) daughter, and a freaking amazing dog-mom. 

My passion has always been reading, writing, and all things entertainment related. Books give me hope—they let me travel the world—but the best part, they teach me empathy. It’s one of the characteristics that I wish I saw more in the world. Movies can often times give me that same hope. For now, though, I’m content at trying to give people all of these things through my own novels while learning from others’ stories. One day, I’ll see my books on the shelves at Barnes and Noble and someone will tell me that my words changed their life. Until then, I’ll keep reading, writing, watching, and most of all, dreaming.
