Movie Review: Your Fault: London (2026)

The follow-up to My Fault: LondonYour Fault: London comes in hot with Nick and Noah navigating a rocky relationship. Check out my full review for Your Fault: London (2026) below!

Movie Blurb

Nick (Matthew Broome) and Noah (Asha Banks) are enjoying their time as a couple… but secretly. Nick isn’t ready to tell his dad yet, but Noah keeps wondering why he wants to keep everything a secret. With Noah moving to Oxford and meeting new people and Nick helping at his company and having a very pretty colleague (Louisa Binder), their relationship isn’t looking like it’s going to last. No matter how much they want to be together.

I absolutely couldn’t wait for this movie to come out. After watching My Fault: London (and LOVING it), I was super ready for Your Fault: London to premiere. I’ve never watched the Culpa Mia versions (but my sister keeps telling me that I absolutely have to), but I can imagine they must be pretty good if I enjoyed these so much.

With that being said, Your Fault: London definitely had its… faults. Stop here if you haven’t watched My Fault: London or the Culpa Mia movies if you still want to. I’m definitely going to spoil some things.

The actors and actresses were still on point (Matthew Broome and Asha Banks have the most amazing chemistry on screen), but the storyline for this second movie just didn’t grip me like the first did.

So, with the first movie, you have these thugs basically who are coming after Nick and Noah. It isn’t just about the forbidden romance. It’s about the life or death situations as well. There’s panic attacks. Thugs. Fighting. Races. Noah gets kidnapped. Her dad almost kills Nick. The DRAMA. It was so entertaining. With this one? You’re basically wondering what Nick did to Blair (Scarlett Rayner), if Noah and Michael (Joel Nankervis) will hook up, if Nick and Sophia (Louisa Binder) will hook up, and if they will ever be secure in their relationship and come out to their family. There’s a little racing, but it’s not much. Nick is jealous of Noah. Noah is jealous of Nick. They can’t ever seem to just be happy. It wasn’t my thing as much as the first one was. I want more than just angst and steamy scenes (which there were a lot of, but no parts are shown). I want the action, too, and Your Fault: London does NOT deliver on the action side of things.

With the romance, it’s one hundred percent there. Like I said, Asha Banks and Matthew Broome have amazing chemistry. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me they were actually together in real life. It’s the eye contact. The “I’m across the room but I want you that much” stares. Everything they do from their body language to their tones of voice gives off great romantic chemistry and I loved every second of it. If you’re just in it for the romance, this will absolutely be your favorite.

Now, this movie does end on somewhat of a cliffhanger. It’s really starting to remind me of the After series, though, with how much their relationship is beginning to turn toxic. I’ll talk more on that in the spoilers.

Spoilers ahead.

Okayyyy. So. There are a few things that happen in this movie that need to be touched on.

  • While being petty and jealous of Sophia, Noah reveals to her stepdad (Ray Fearon) that she and Nick are together. This obviously causes a lot of problems and he tells them to break it off immediately or he will stop funding both of them.
  • Nick lies for no reason that Sophia was in his room that night. Should she have been in her hotel room until two in the morning? Probably not. But they never did anything. It caused more problems to lie to Noah.
  • Noah decides to race Cruz (Orlando Norman) for funsies and Nick stops her because Cruz is working with Ronnie (Sam Buchanan) and trying to hurt Nick and Noah. Someone also please explain to me why Ronnie has a cell phone in prison??? No one gets hurt because Cruz accidentally gets ahead of Noah and runs over the spikes, wrecking his car.
  • Briar tells Nick that Noah is with Michael, when, in fact, Noah is definitely NOT (because Nick broke Briar’s heart years ago and she is vindictive). This causes Nick to kiss Sophia at the party. Which, in turn, exposes their relationship to the tabloids and world, but more importantly, gets Noah to sleep with Michael because she thinks Nick has moved on.
  • Nick, after Noah tells him that she slept with Michael, goes to Michael and basically beats him up (what is with guys and beating people up???). Then he gets arrested and the movie ends. Crazy. But. Not really.

See what I mean by it’s starting to seem like the After series? “I kissed this girl, so you’re gonna kiss this guy to piss me off, then I’m going to be reckless and get someone or myself hurt.” Very typical toxic love trope if you ask me.

Overall, I did enjoy this movie, but definitely not as much as My Fault: London. What made the first movie so special was the balance of romance and action. This one just didn’t hit the mark for me in that aspect and the romance felt too toxic at times for me to really get into it. Still a solid romance, but don’t expect more than teen-feeling-angst.
